Had a real great night for my debut at The Sun Inn Pooley Bridge, Ullswater, which is one of my favourite spots in the lakes. Real warm welcome from the staff and the little crowd were awesome as ever, one or two familiar faces in the crowd. John is keen to put on proper live acts and not just “glorified karaoke”, which is refreshing to hear and I imagine I will be back as a punter too.
No problems from Elsie, who had been playing up and popping all week, but gave her a good thrashing and played some stuff not sung publicly for over 8 years too, must get more Oasis into the set for future.
I also purchased a new guitar on eBay yesterday and have recently acquired a digi piano for my son to learn on too, so expect keys and a bit of classic electric to feature in some new stuff in the future.
So, another first for me, playing a SUPERMARKET!!
a.k.a. ASDA Kendal, next Saturday 18th April as part of

Thanks to Tim Minchin for inspiration for blog title, love his work
I know websites are a bit “old hat” but I like old hats!
Thought it was about time I had a bespoke site to tell you about all the exciting stuff happening in my music world and so (with a little help) have constructed a simple website, that will bring everything together in one central location.
Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud etc can all be reached via this site , but I will try to add a little something extra too, and will also be launching an email newsletter soon so that you can be prompted about new releases, gigs and other stuff!
Ciao for now
